Amsterdam

JULY 6–19, 2026

Overview

Yoga for Change: Embodied Spirituality and Activism for yoga teachers is a certificate program designed to respond to the urgent challenges of our world: ecological collapse, war, systemic oppression, disconnection and trauma. We draw strength and inspiration from great contemplative lineages—Yoga, the roots of authentic Christianity, Buddhism, and other wisdom traditions—woven together with science, psychology, and contemporary approaches to mind-body-spirit integration. We guide yoga teachers to embrace radical spirituality and courageous service in action.

Yoga teachers hold the power to speak truth and spark collective action. This program nurtures that power through rigorous study, reflection, practical tools and lived examples—helping participants step fully into their role as contemplatives and change-makers. Activist souls, determined to serve the world.

More than a training, Yoga for Change is a movement.

Key themes include:

  • Critical and Radical Understanding of Yoga tradition
  • Embodied Mindfulness and Somatic Practices for Engaged Action
  • Yoga for Trauma, Social Justice and Liberation
  • Psychology and Neuroscience for Emotional Balance and Resilience
  • Radical Teaching: Finding Our Voice to Challenge Comfort Zones
  • Embodied Non-Duality: Spirituality, Contemplation and Activism
  • The Science and Art of Compassion in Action
  • Marketing and Communication for Social Change
  • Ethical Business and Sustainable Community Building
  • History of Activism and Direct Learning from Lifelong Activists
  • and much more.

Grounded in research, theory, and immersive practice, Yoga for Change invites you to teach, practice, and show up radically in response to today’s challenges. To return to the essence of spiritual practice. To join a movement committed to making a tangible impact in the world. To embody your values, communicate your vision unapologetically, and honor yoga as a path of true liberation—personal and collective.

Throughout history, yogis, sages, and mystics across traditions have been true radicals—turning inward to face truth, awaken insight, and real freedom, sparking transformation within and around them.

The quiet courage of meditation, prayer, and practice holds the seed of change itself—rooted in clarity, compassion, and resilience, we can rise to shape a world of justice, dignity and true belonging for all.

Spaces are limited, ensuring an immersive and transformative experience.
