More than half of the island’s territory is protected, allowing the preservation of landscapes of outstanding ecological value: unspoilt beaches with crystal-clear waters, lush ravines, Mediterranean forests and extraordinary marine biodiversity. <\/p>\n

However, Menorca is also an island shaped by more than four thousand years of history. Its most distinctive legacy is the Talayotic culture, one of the most important prehistoric cultures in the western Mediterranean. The talayots, taulas, navetas and prehistoric settlements scattered across the island form an archaeological landscape unlike any other in the world. This extraordinary heritage was recognised by UNESCO in 2023 with the inscription of Talayotic Menorca as a World Heritage Site, further establishing the island as a leading cultural destination. <\/p>\n
